Yorkshire Pudding

Yorkshire Pudding

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Yield: Serves About 4-8

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cube Butter**
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Confectioner's Sugar and/or Jelly

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 475 Degrees
  2. Mix Eggs, Milk, and Salt
  3. Add Flour and mix with mixers for about 30 seconds
  4. Refrigerate for 1 Hour (not necessary, but it will be more "bubbly" if you do...obviously wait to preheat the oven if you are refrigerating for an hour)
  5. Melt Butter in oblong cake pan (approx. 9x11)
  6. Pour mix into pan
  7. Spread evenly and Bake until golden brown and bubbly
  8. Serve with Confectioner's Sugar sprinkled over the top, or with Jelly on the side

Notes

** You can use less than an entire cube of butter to melt in the bottom of the pan...I usually use about 3/4 cube. The melted butter helps to cook the mixture and adds flavor.
